BECAUSE FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION®
Sound restrictor caps are designed to maximize sound reduction by controlling and slowing gas exit at the suppressor’s end. These caps typically provide the quietest performance and are preferred for range use, precision shooting, and applications where flash is not the primary concern. When clearance matters, the sound restrictor cap’s streamlined front end minimizes snag points while preserving maximum suppression-focused performance. All restrictor caps are treated with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to enhance wear, corrosion resistance, and surface hardness properties. The caps are then coated in C-192 Armor Black Cerakote®.
Key characteristics:
Flash hider caps are designed to reduce visible muzzle flash, particularly in low-light environments. Using prong-based geometry, these caps disrupt and cool exiting gases to limit flash signature, with only a minor trade-off in sound performance of 1.5dB on average compared to sound restrictor caps. They successfully eliminate secondary flash on subsequent shots after the first round pop (FRP) and virtually eliminate the intermediate flash signature. All restrictor caps are treated with Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) to enhance wear, corrosion resistance, and surface hardness properties. The caps are then coated in C-192 Armor Black Cerakote®.
